Mitt Romney as a Last Resort

With the news media playing up Hillary and McCain as the "front runners" it looks like we may have to hold our nose and root for Romney to get the nomination. Heaven forbid we end up with the only choice being between Clinton and McCain. They might as well be on the same ticket.

What it becomes now is who will do the least damage. I hate to vote for the lesser of two evils and we swore we wouldn't. If it is a case of McCain vs Clinton then we still won't vote for either of them. We can stay home or just write in a candidate.

However, if it is Romney vs Clinton or Obama I would go to the polls and vote for Romney. This nation needs to wake up and see that McCain is not the man for the job. Keating 5, the Gang of Fourteen, McCain/Feingold, McCain/Kennedy and the list could go on and on. Not to mention him during the POW/MIA hearings and his successful effort to stop our searching for MIA's and POW's in Vietnam against family wishes.

We've fought our fight for the nominee when we were supporting Fred Thompson. Now we have to wait to see what the rest of the country does.
